The Delta Rough Casing Metal Seal (DRCMS) is a primary seal that provides a gas-tight metal seal against non-machined casing surfaces. Especially used to pack off annulus between casing strings.
Seal at low pressure as well as high pressure up to 15,000 psi. Nibs on ID seals against the casing & tapered OD seals against tapered ID of the spool.
The metal seal is energized by easily making up to API 6A flange recommended torque, spacer rings are available with different thickness for adjustment.
Seal rings are available with different ID to match the casing tolerance of API 5 CT standard.
Available in different material trims to meet the Material, Temperature and pressure requirements.
Simple installation without a need for any field machining of the casing stub or energizing calculations.
Available for casing sizes 5″ to 13 ⅝”.
