MEOS 2015 – The Premier Oil & Gas Show in the Middle East Opens in Bahrain

Over 2,000 oil and gas professionals will converge at the Ritz Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa on Sunday 8 March for the conference opening session of the 19th Society of Petroleum Engineers Middle East Oil & Gas Show and Conference (MEOS 2015).

The associated 14,800 square metre exhibition of industry products and services will open in a separate ceremony on Monday 9 March under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. The event, which runs until 11 March, is expected to attract over 8,000 attendees over the course of 4 days.
The MEOS 2015 conference opening session on 8 March assembles a distinguished panel of ministers and high ranking industry figures, who will deliver their own perspective on this year’s conference theme, ‘Energy Beyond Limits Through Innovation and Collaboration’. The theme focuses on the importance of collaborative efforts between national and independent oil companies, industry and academia to meet world energy demand, and will be addressed from many perspectives through presentations and panel discussions throughout the conference.

More than 300 technical presentations designed to share the knowledge and experience of managing, operating and supplying companies will follow over the subsequent 3 days of the conference at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Topics range from reservoir, production and facilities, exploration and appraisal, drilling and completions, project management, human resources, business models and HSSE.
